Be sure, clear clutter or small items from the steps. Such things can cause the child, to miss a step, which can be fatal. After years of tugging on the railing systems, the banisters are bound to loosen up. To ensure optimal safety for your kids, remove the loose banisters and replace them. You cannot afford leave anything to chance. It is a fact that a runaway carpet makes a great feeling underfoot when walking the stairs. However, the choice of the carpet patterns may cause accidents.
